Adventures

Kaua’i

I recently embarked on a breathtaking journey to capture Kaua’i's natural wonders. From the air, we marveled at the dramatic landscape of the Nāpali Coast. Beneath the crystal-clear waters, we were immersed in a vibrant marine ecosystem on a dive trip to Niʻihau, capturing mesmerizing colors and delicate dances of underwater life. Visit our website to experience our curated collection of photographs and be transported to the mystical landscapes of Kauai.

Alaska

Our trip to Kodiak Island in Alaska to photograph bears was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. From the moment we set foot on this remote and breathtaking island, we were captivated by its pristine beauty. The rugged landscapes, towering mountains, and dense forests provided the perfect backdrop for our wildlife photography expedition.

Italy

Italy has long been on a short list of countries I have longed to explore and photograph. From the history of the Eternal city to the hilltop villages that dot the countryside, It is worth taking the time to do slowly. Our first trip took us from the streets of Rome to the cliffs of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Cinque Terre and finally on to the green hills of Tuscany. Images from this trip are all over my home, begging me to return.

Kenya

The story of this adventure started, as many great adventures do, in a bar. What started as a simple question, “What do you want to photograph next?” took us half way around the world to have an experience of a lifetime.

Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem

The area around Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks is one of the few remaining intact examples of the northern temperate zone on Earth. It also explodes with fall colors right before it closes in the winter. Images of the Sawtooth Mountain range hang above my bed and fill my dreams with memories of our time there.

Bonaire

The ABC islands are also known as the Leeward Antilles are nestled in the souther Caribbean Sea just off the coast of South America. These tiny islands are home to some of the best SCUBA diving in the world with Bonaire considered to be the shore diving capital. With over 20 years of diving experience, this sits atop my list of places I would love to dive again.

Maui

Growing up, I always had a picture in my head of what Maui must be like. It was warm trade winds rustling the palm trees, waves lapping the beach, and epic sunsets. Maui is all of those things , and so much more. With incredible food, culture, and scenery, it is hard to take a bad picture, no matter where you point your camera.

Scotland

It doesn’t take a long trip up my family tree for it to be clear where my family came from. While it is the home of many of my ancestors, it is also a Photographer’s dream. From the historic cities in the Lowlands to the epic landscapes of the Highlands, it is a country ripe for epic photography and full of incredible people.

Washington

I’m incredibly fortunate to call the Pacific Northwest home. The longer I am here, the more places I find to explore. Even though my travels take me across the globe, seeing Mt. Rainier out the airplane window on approach to land at home is always a welcome view.
